ODE TO A HERO
Tragic news. A phone call informed me that my father in law was killed in a plane wreck. Brian M. was a flight nurse and was one of the best in the state of New Mexico. I am not going into any detail about what happened just have to say he died doing his job. Not knowing Brian very well although he is my wife’s father I think this is the way he would have wanted to go. Brian lived life at full speed and on at least three different occasions nearly met a tragic demise. All other times were from foolishness on motorcycles.
I regret not getting to know him better and morn the fact that his daughters will never have the chance to see him again. Brian If you hear this I will do my very best to take care of your daughter to the best of my ability no matter what becomes of us I will give you this promise just like I promised her grandfather.
