Life is short!
About an hour ago I was called by a co worker and informed that my boss had been killed in a bike crash. What a shitty way to go and I know he was only 54 or 55 years old two years from retirement. He was not the world greatest boss all the time he was a bit of a tight wad and got angry easily but got over it quickly. He was a good friend outside of work and I really enjoyed his stories about the old days at the yard and when he was a marine. Ish you will be missed my friend, glad your in a better place where you don’t have to stress about how we are going to make the next job. Although I bet you will anyway.
